For those new to woodwind, we recommend beginning with recorder. The recorder is a beautiful instrument where it is possible to make a beautiful sound straight away, as well as being the perfect instrument for laying good foundations in fingering, breathing and tonguing. For students with some experience playing woodwind, we specialise in teaching flute and follow the graded exam syllabus of the ABRSM. For other woodwind instruments, please enquire.
