Greetings everyone.

We are now just finished week 6 of Term 2. The last teaching day of this term is this Saturday 23rd March.

We are OPEN all next week we do not close for the Mid Term break. If you are away please do let us know.

SECOND TERM IN REVIEW SO FAR…

Lots of pupils moved up in their grades after another successful examining period with the ABRSM in December. Check out the Image Slider below for a few pics of some of our beginners pupils who took the first step on the ABRSM exam journey.

  • Prepping for Performances

The KSM Young Voices and the KSM Concert Orchestra are both in rehearsals for two nights of upcoming concerts on April 12th and 13th in Camross Hall. More details about this coming soon.

 The KSM SWOPS Orchestra were recently invited to collaborate with the Staves Orchestra from Carlow School of Music. So they are busy beavers at the moment with maestro Robert Mahon composing a couple of pieces fro the occasion. We look forward to this colloborated Concert taking place in Carlow and Wexford on 18th and 19th May. More details coming soon.

Also The Little Sea Musical Society in association with KSM Concert Orchestra have set their dates for The King and I in 2020 to April 22nd to 25th. For more details contact @Maria thelittleseamusicalsociety@gmail.com

  • KSM CELEBRATES 10 years of Music Education 2009-2019

The KSM (Kiltra School of Music) will be celebrating it’s 10th anniversary on Sunday 28th April and on this day we will also be officially opening and naming our New Recital room, and hosting a concert afternoon/eveNing in the KSM for all our students and families.

  • PLEASE NOTE

KSM Missed Lessons Policy If you need to cancel a lesson and give at least 24 hours notice we will do our best to slot you into any other cancellations that may arise. However, if notice is not given that lesson will then be forfeited as the slot cannot be offered to another pupil.
